The village
Located at 1500 m altitude, in a wooded area, the harmonious resort of Valfréjus, has been built in a traditional architecture (natural stone and wood). The center, with its restaurants, cafes and shops is car free and all facilities are all within walking distance (400m), ideal for the whole family.

The ski area
The ski area of Valfrejus counts around 68 km of slope for beginners as for expert skiers. The nearest ski lift is only 200m away from La Vigie. For more infos on the ski area : http://www.valfrejus.com.
With a 6-day ESKIMO ski pass you can ski one day in the nearby ski resorts of La Norma, Aussois, Valcenis or Bonneval. Moreover with a small supplement, you can spend a day skiing in Val Thorens situated in the 3 Valleys, the largest ski area in the world. For this you take the 3Vallées Express Cabine in Orelle, only at 20 minutes by car from Valfréjus.
Walking & cycling
In summer also, Valfrejus is a nice place located in in the center of a beautiful area with extensive walking and cycling possibilities. The Maurienne has it’s own label “Maurienne le plus grand domaine cyclable du monde”, the biggest cycling area in the world. This area counts the most famous Cols of the Tour de France : Col du Galibier, Col du Télégraphe, Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Mont Cenis etc.
